Acorn House Red nose udpate
For Red nose day, the home organised a party where the young people could spend time with their family. The lounge was decorated with red accessories and a buffet was cooked, which included a Spanish meatball stew, sweet potato wedges, pizza muffins, home-made cupcakes decorated with red icing and many more items.
Two of the young people designed their own t-shirts to wear for the party, with a red nose day theme during their art and craft activity on the Thursday evening. During the party, they played a game where they had to place the face onto the red nose. All young people fully participated within the party and enjoyed having their family there.
As a result of the success of all our homes organising various activities for Red nose day we were able to financially donate money to this worthwhile cause.
